LODGING + DINING

CABINS

Each Elkhorn Ranch cabin is unique and the Millers and their crew work hard to find the right cabin for you, with consideration of your group size, kids’ ages and/or health concerns. Elkhorn Ranch books reservations by the person, not the cabin, and arranges cabin assignments to meet individuals’ needs. Cabins are considered doubles, singles and/or family friendly.

20 UNIQUE CABINS provide comfortable living space for 32 guests (on average). Each cabin is unique. All cabins are within a few minutes walk of the dining room, ranch office and barn, yet the desert landscaping provides a feeling of privacy and seclusion. If you are not a birder upon arrival you may find yourself with a new hobby as the birdsong and variety provide natural entertainment.

MORE ABOUT OUR CABINS

You’ll find a bird feeder outside your door and as much birdseed as you care to feed.

DINING

The Long House and its inviting patio, shaded by venerable mesquite tree, gather the ranch community for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day.  The setting is casual and conversational.  Families and friends gather at four indoor tables that seat 8 – 10 people and outdoor seating encourages people to spread out into smaller conversational groups.  Two fireplaces anchor the dining and sitting room ends of the Long House, creating ambiance and welcome warmth during the winter months.  Patio heaters make outdoor dining inviting throughout the fall, winter and spring seasons. The ranch has no bar, rather people entertain in cabins or bring a bottle of wine along to supper.  Beer, wine and soft drinks are available for sale in the ranch office store.
