The Elkhorn Ranch vacation lifestyle revolves around rest and relaxation at your own private cabin, ranch activities and meals. Twenty unique cabins provide comfortable living space for 32 guests (on average). Meals are served at the Long House dining and sitting room and outdoor patio or on the trail during all-day horseback rides. The Long House also serves as a communal gathering area for relaxing, socializing, and play. All buildings are within a few minutes walk of one another, yet the Sonoran desert landscape provides a feeling of privacy and seclusion. The Miller family and their crew are attentive to your individual needs throughout your stay.

LODGING

Your cabin is unique and matched to your parties needs. Once you arrive, there’s no need for car keys or wallets. You’ll settle into your unique and private cabin and find that all ranch buildings are only minutes’ walk from one another.

DINING

Guests gather at The Long House for casual and conversational meals and for relaxation and play throughout the day. The Long House and its inviting patio gather the ranch community for breakfast, lunch and supper each day.

BIRDING

You’ll find a bird feeder and bird water outside your cabin and as much birdseed as you care to feed. The birdsong and variety provide natural entertainment. If you are not a birder upon arrival you may find yourself with a new hobby as The Millers recommend trying an app called Merlin produced by the CornellLab to identify birds by their song and learn about what you see or hear!

ART BY RANCH GUESTS

Each Elkhorn cabin is uniquely furnished and decorated. Over the years, original art by Elkhorn ranch guests has been framed and hung in the cabins alongside prints and original work by regional artists. In recent years, work produced by workshop participants and leaders has been added to the cabins and been used on the ranch website, social media and print media. We hope you enjoy this photo gallery of ranch inspired art!
