Almost a year ago, we wandered into conversation with American artist Mary Reid. She was looking for a ranch to partner with for the Cowgirl Artists of America Women’s Work exhibition. Mary visited the ranch last fall and spent time with Clara around the barnyard and on the trail. Before we knew it, the experience came to life in sketches and on canvas. Meeting Mary and sharing her creative journey has been a great experience! The show opens August 1, 2025 at the A. R. Mitchell Museum of Western Art in Trinidad, Colorado.
